A great day's off-roading for the Sgt's Mess Charity, Royal Marines, Poole

More than 130 4x4s took part in our first charity off road day, organised by the Sgts' Mess Charity, Royal Marines Poole.

Thanks to the dedicated off-roaders and 113 heavily sponsored 'first timers', we raised over £4,500 on the day including £420 just from the sale of bacon butties, bangers and hot drinks! All entry donations and sponsorships were shared between Save The Children and SignIt!, a local group supporting the deaf from education and training for the workplace to integrating into the community.

Our profound thanks go to all the volunteers from the Sgts' Mess, Royal Marines who set up the courses and ran the entire day with incredible enthusiasm and professionalism.

Just a few images from the event appear at the top of this page and below:

All proceeds from the day went to SignIt! and Save The Children
